Doreen was an only child. When she was 10 her parents adopted a sick little boy. Alan and Doreen loved each other and as they grew up, they were always playing together, where one went the other was sure to be. Over the years they were inseparable and enjoyed a brotherly love that never faded.
 
Alan married Pat, they had two children, Richard and Emma, both are in the congregation today.
 
In recent times Doreen often spoke about the family. She would talk about the house parties, especially about the times when the children were young. She often said with a twinkle in her eye “I really loved those little cuddles”. Some of whom are now pensioners.
 
Doreen is the kindest, sweetest person and I’m sure there is a place in heaven for her.
